Job Title: Part-Time Weekend Forklift Loader

We are hiring a Part-Time Weekend Forklift Loader for our distribution center in Romeoville, IL, starting at $19.50/hour. The shifts are on Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.. Additional shifts are available up to 32 hours per week. Saturday and Sunday are required.

Job Description

This position facilitates the movement of goods utilizing a sit-down forklift and RF scanner from the staging area to outbound trailers.

• Conduct daily inspection of Material Handling Equipment using RF and paper.
• Perform outbound functions adhering to standard operating procedures.
• Inspect each pallet and product for damage before loading to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Utilize RF Scanner to move goods from Staging to Outbound Mode of Transportation.
• Able to stand, bend, stretch, and squat up to 9 hours per day.
• Lift up to 65 pounds.
• Read and understand training and shipment paperwork.
• Perform general housekeeping in the warehouse.
• Be willing to work outdoors to perform duties.
• Perform other department duties as assigned.
• Operate a propane sit-down forklift efficiently.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately wrap, stage, and load shipments within the required time.
• Ability to meet efficiency requirements by function.
• Working knowledge of RF Scanners / WMS.
• Able to work in outdoor conditions.
• Availability to work Saturday & Sunday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
