Job Title: Part-Time Weekend Forklift Loader

We are hiring a Part-Time Weekend Forklift Loader for our distribution center in Romeoville, IL, starting at $19.50/hour. The shifts are on Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.. Additional shifts are available up to 32 hours per week. Saturday and Sunday are required.

Job Description

This position facilitates the movement of goods utilizing a sit-down forklift and RF scanner from the staging area to outbound trailers.

• Perform daily inspection of Material Handling Equipment using RF and paper
• Perform outbound functions adhering to standard operating procedures
• Inspect each pallet and product for damage before loading to ensure customer satisfaction
• Utilize RF Scanner to move goods from staging to outbound transportation
• Stand, bend, stretch, and squat for up to 9 hours per day
• Lift up to 65 pounds
• Read and understand training and shipment paperwork
• Perform general housekeeping in the warehouse
• Be willing to work outdoors to perform duties
• Perform other department duties as assigned
• Operate a propane sit-down forklift efficiently

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately wrap, stage, and load shipments within required time
• Meet efficiency requirements by function
• Working knowledge of RF Scanners / WMS
• Able to work in outdoor conditions
• Availability to work Saturday & Sunday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
