Job summary

ALDI USA in Moreno Valley is hiring for a 1st shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate. You will receive inbound or pick outbound stock, move merchandise, and prepare shipments to stores.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 45 pounds, work in varying temperatures, and follow safety guidelines. You will join a team focused on accuracy, efficiency, and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound or select outbound stock to fulfill store orders.
• Move merchandise within the warehouse following handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load shipments for storage or dispatch.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the work area.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and reporting.
• Communicate with peers and management to improve processes.
• Inspect product quality and report safety concerns.

Our warehouse operations make sure that products are properly received, selected and delivered to our stores for our ever-growing number of customers to enjoy. While not guaranteed, on average our warehouse employees work 32 hours per week. Our teams are comprised of hardworking, dedicated individuals who work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas. Outbound

Duties and Responsibilities: Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Receives(Inbound)or selects(Outbound)stock efficiently to effectively fulfill orders received from stores.

• Relocates merchandise throughout the warehouse according to product handling guidelines.

• Sorts, organizes, and loads merchandise strategically in preparation for shipment and unloads incoming shipment from trucks/back-hauls.

• Performs general cleaning duties to achieve warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.

• Participates in taking warehouse inventory counts according to guidelines.

• Cooperates and interacts effectively with peers,suppliersand warehouse leadership through ongoing communication and exchange of information.

• Provides input to the warehouse managementregardingchanges to improve processes.

• Inspects product, consults with the warehouse managementregardingproduct quality, safetyconcernsand sanitation issues.

• Assistswarehouse management in achieving budgeted goals.

• Performs all assigned tasks, accurately, efficiently, and within company policy and procedures.

• Follows the ergonomic program according to established procedures.

• Operates equipment according to safety guidelines in performance of essential job functions.

• Notifies managementregardingproduct quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently (Outbound) or occasionally (Inbound)required to lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.

• Frequentlymovesmerchandise from warehouse stock andprepareproduct for store deliveries.

• Frequently required to sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry and walk throughout the warehouse.

• Continuously works in varying temperatures, hot and cold including outdoor temperatures and refrigerator/freezer environments.

• Ability tosafely and properly operate powered industrial equipment.
