Job summary

S&S Activewear seeks a Will Call Clerk to assist customers at pickup, manage cash transactions, and collaborate with Inventory and Shipping to fulfill orders. You will greet customers, locate orders, process payments, and help keep the warehouse organized and safe.

Ideal candidates can lift up to 50 lbs, read and speak English, and follow detailed procedures. This full-time role requires flexibility and independent work in a fast-paced retail warehouse environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet Will Call customers and assist with order pickup.
• Look up Will Call orders on company software and print receipts.
• Process cash and card transactions and reconcile cash at end of day.
• Receive, organize, and dispatch customer orders; troubleshoot delays.
• Prepare, wrap, and load outbound pallets as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
• Follow leadership directions and participate in team safety.

About the Role

Description

The Will Call Clerk will be responsible for assisting customers with order pick up including the collection of cash payment, working with the Inventory and Shipping departments for order fulfillment, and answering their questions while following all rules and procedures.

Hours

Full-time, Non-exempt.

Major Responsibilities

• Act professionally, greet and interact with Will Call customers
• Look up Will Call orders on the company software as customer arrives and print customer receipt
• Process cash and credit card transactions and reconcile cash balance at the end of the day
• Receive and organize customer orders and troubleshoot delayed orders as necessary
• Prepare, wrap and load outbound pallets as necessary
• Act professionally and remain focused while working
• Safely operate all warehouse equipment
• Follow directions of leadership
• Perform cleaning activities as required
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse
• Maintain a positive attitude
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to operate a warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Must be comfortable using electronic devices.
• Can lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately.
• Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information.
• Must be flexible with start and departure time changing.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to work independently without close supervision.
• Responsible for any additional duties assigned.
