Job summary

Wegmans is seeking a warehouse employee to accurately select cases and build pallets for store delivery, playing a key role in keeping shelves stocked and meeting customer demand in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience required.
• Experience operating pallet jack.
• Experience in food distribution environment.
• Experience operating forklift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds routinely.

Responsibilities

• Build and stack pallets to protect products and ensure safe delivery.
• Operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, Vocollect) safely.
• Communicate effectively with management and team.
• Lift 20–25 pounds with occasional heavier lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities:

• Build and stack pallets to ensure product protection and safe delivery
• Safely operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, Vocollect)
• Effectively communicate with management and the team
• Lift 20–25 pounds, with maximum weight lifted greater than 50 pounds occasionally to frequently

Warehouse experience; Experience operating a pallet jack; Food distribution center experience; Experience operating a VoCollect; Experience in a Distribution or Manufacturing environment; Experience operating forklift; Work Environment Work includes sitting, standing, and walking for up to 4 hours without a break, repetitive hand and arm movements, bending, reaching, some lifting, with occasional heavy lifting, including reaching and lifting above shoulder height, along with continuous interaction with co-workers and delivery drivers in a fast-paced environment. Climbing on and off power equipment. The average weight range of items lifted is 5–20 pounds with a maximum weight lifted of 50 pounds occasionally. The work environment may include seasonal outdoor temperature and weather. May be exposed to various allergens (things that may cause an allergic reaction).
