Job summary

Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts in Sacramento seeks Clinical Nursing Instructors (RN/LVN) for the Vocational Nursing program. Full-time positions available for both AM and PM shifts.

Teach in clinical settings, collaborate with faculty, and support program standards while maintaining current medical education knowledge. BSN or ADN required with RN/LVN licensure; minimum 3 years' RN/LVN with BSN or 6 years with ADN.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse.
• Bachelor's degree (BSN) or Associate degree (ASN/ADN) in Nursing from an accredited school.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as RN or LVN with BSN or 6 years with ADN.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned classes in a Clinical setting for our Vocational Nursing program.
• Meet with didactic and clinical faculty members to discuss program development.
• Support the Campus Director and Nursing Program Coordinator in organizing and implementing program standards.
• Maintain current knowledge of medical education and ensure facilities meet CME requirements.
