Job summary

Success Education Colleges is seeking a Nursing Instructor to teach the Practical Nursing program at Glendale site. You will deliver theory and skills labs, mentor students, and ensure compliance with accrediting standards.

Requires a Bachelor's in Nursing and a current California RN/LVN license. Part-time position with classes on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., travel to scheduled locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent credential with license.
• Ability to advise and support students academically.

Responsibilities

• Teaches and implements the nursing curriculum under supervision.
• Provides a professional role model for students.
• Plans and delivers theory and skills labs to meet outcomes.
• Schedules office time for student review and consultation.
• Evaluates student progress and exam results.
• Maintains accurate record keeping of grades and attendance.
• Oversees lab sessions and safety during practicals.
• Prepares lesson plans and study guides.
• Promotes a positive learning environment and teamwork.
• Travel to scheduled locations as required.
