Job summary

Allied Universal in Whitsett, NC seeks a Part-Time Security Officer for Visitor Management. You will support access control at a logistics and distribution site, uphold site policies, and respond to incidents. This is a part-time, on-site role with opportunities to engage in customer service and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening may be required.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and driver logs, and help control access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility entry points, loading areas, parking locations, and the surrounding perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Document access activity, incidents, and irregular conditions accurately and promptly in accordance with site procedures.
