Successful candidates may teach courses aligned with their expertise; appointments are made per course and may be renewed based on funding, instruction quality, and required expertise.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a field relevant to their proposed course(s).
• PhD or Terminal Degree relevant to proposed subject, OR noteworthy professional leadership on the proposed subject.
• Experience teaching undergraduate students.
• Applicants must affiliate with one of Clemson's discipline-based academic colleges.

Responsibilities

• Teach interdisciplinary Honors seminars and HON-prefixed courses as needed.
• Appointments are course-by-course with potential renewal based on instructional needs and funding.
• Contribute to the Honors College as a part-time, non-tenure-track lecturer.

Description

The Clemson University Honors College invites applications for part-time, non-tenure-track Lecturer positions to teach interdisciplinary Honors seminars. This is a rolling application, with candidates considered as instructional needs arise and based on course availability. Successful candidates may teach Honors seminars on new or existing topics and/or other appropriate HON-prefixed courses aligned with their areas of expertise. Appointments are generally made on a course-by-course basis, with the possibility of renewal based on instructional needs, quality of instruction, and availability of funding.
