Job summary

MitchellChamber is seeking a Part-time Visitation Specialist. The role offers Monday–Friday hours with occasional Saturdays and reports to the FVC Supervisor.

Salary is $20.00/hour, with duties including supervising visits, providing client transportation, and ensuring confidentiality and policy adherence. Responsibilities include documenting visits, maintaining safety and order, and coordinating with the FVC team.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Must pass background check.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Self-motivated and able to collaborate in a team.
• Proficient with computer applications and technology.
• Ability to respond effectively to trauma and crises.
• Experience managing challenging and confrontational behaviors.
• Knowledge of child development, abuse/neglect issues, and family custody dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and document on-site and virtual visits, exchanges, and telephone calls.
• Provide transportation for clients to and from supervised visitation.
• Uphold and implement all FVC policies and procedures.
• Complete and review all required documentation.
• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
• Maintain communication with the FVC supervisor.
• Ensure the facility meets FVC standards of cleanliness and orderliness.
• Other duties as assigned.
