Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service in eyewear retail at Macy’s stores. You will leverage optical prescriptions to recommend lenses, assist customers in selecting frames, and coordinate precise measurements with the Optician as needed.

The role emphasizes meeting sales goals, maintaining a polished store appearance, and building lasting relationships with customers and team members in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years experience in retail or customer service.
• Familiarity with POS systems, computers, and calculators.
• Ability to sell through use of sales skills and meet sales goals.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Utilizes optical prescription to recommend lenses and coatings.
• Assists patients in selecting frames and coordinates with measurements for vision solutions.
• Conducts measurements using appropriate optical tools and consults with Optician as needed.
• Maintains an inviting store environment and professional relationships with peers and staff.
• Keeps displays and inventory clean, attractive and organized.
• Fosters an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
