Job summary

Visionworks, a part-time Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead role, is the face of the store, guiding customers through their eyewear journey with knowledge of optics and services. Prior optical experience is expected, with licensing as required by state guidelines.

The role emphasizes achieving daily sales goals, engaging with patients, and maintaining up-to-date product knowledge through ongoing training, while supporting store operations.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed (Licensed).

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through contin. training and development.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals.
