Job summary

Visionworks of America is seeking a part-time Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant to be the friendly face of our exam practice. You will guide patients through preliminary testing, introduce them to the OD, and help transition them to the sales floor with essential information for product recommendations.

You will perform daily store operations to support the exam lane and patient experience, including inventory, equipment cleaning, and answering phones, while maintaining accurate

Qualifications

• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducing preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and provide associates necessary information to educate and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to meet additional patient needs.
