Job summary

The Suzuki Violin School of Santa Barbara is seeking a passionate violin teacher to join its program serving students as young as 3 through high school and beyond. You will teach, recruit new students, and lead group and performance classes in a warm, collaborative environment.

You will help organize biannual student recitals, support youth ensembles and college audition tutoring when appropriate, and inspire students with engaging teaching.

Qualifications

• SAA registered training for Books 1-4 in your instrument is desired.
• BM and MM preferred.
• Willingness to teach 1-2 days a week if not living in Santa Barbara or be available 4-6 days a week if living in town.

Job description

A Suzuki program, located at The Suzuki Violin School of Santa Barbara, that starts children as young as 3 years old and continues throughout their high school career and beyond.

We also offer adult education and audition tutoring for youth ensembles for high schoolers preparing for college auditions.
