KSL-TV, part of Deseret Management Corporation, is seeking a part-time Videographer/Editor to craft engaging, character-driven stories for daily news and in-depth projects. The role is onsite at the Salt Lake City site and requires strong storytelling under deadline pressure.

The position calls for experience in video editing/photography, non-linear editing (preferably Adobe Premiere), and a willingness to work weekends/on-call.

Qualifications

• Two years of journalism or broadcast experience preferred.
• Experience as video editor or photographer preferred.
• Experience with non-linear editing software, preferably Adobe Premiere.
• Degree in journalism or communications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsabilités

• Edit video material to meet deadlines with professional editing techniques.
• Capture daily news events and shoot video as assigned.
• Operate and maintain camera, microwave and satellite equipment.
• Perform on-call and weekend duties on a rotating basis.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of all final video content.
