Job description

Schedule: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week. Typically 4 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with flexibility depending on workload and business needs.

Overview

Paramount's Creative & Strategy department is looking for a highly organized and collaborative producer with a strong understanding of project management, video production, and creative operations.

This producer will sit within Project Management as a dedicated resource for the video and motion graphics team, owning alignment between the video team, project managers, internal creative teams, and executive stakeholders, and proactively communicating status, timelines, and progress updates for multiple video and animation projects simultaneously in real time.

The ideal candidate is an experienced producer fluent in the full creative suite, from video production and post through motion graphics and visual effects, who understands how AI is reshaping all of it. This team builds new pipelines in real time, and this producer must be at home in that environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the video team to plan and execute projects from brief through final delivery, ensuring production needs, timelines, and deliverables are clearly defined and aligned with Project Management master schedules.
  • Build and maintain production timelines across multiple concurrent video projects.
  • Communicate status and progress in real time throughout creative development and execution, anticipating production challenges and flagging risks and bottlenecks early to both the video team and Project Management.
  • When creative direction or production needs change, quickly re-adapt schedules and plans and provide the video team and project managers with actionable next steps.
  • Produce written recaps and confirmed direction following every creative review.
  • Coordinate resources, vendors, and freelance talent, including tool access, licenses, and vendor relationships.
  • Manage budgets, track and reconcile project spend.
  • Support production workflows including asset organization and version control, and apply Google's suite and similar tools to production management itself, from scheduling and tracking systems to recaps and status communication.

Qualifications

  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage timelines, deliverables, budgets, resources, and competing priorities across multiple projects.
  • Five+ years of video production experience, ideally including live event, broadcast networks, or entertainment studio/brand marketing.
  • On-set and live event production experience, including rehearsals and show‑day operations.
  • Thorough understanding of post-production workflows and tools, including editorial, editing, motion graphics, and visual effects.
  • Familiarity with modern production tools such as Runway, and comfort working in rapidly evolving pipelines.
  • Experience producing and delivering content for LED screen environments, live events, and unique formats, including large scale, ultra wide, and unconventional canvases.
  • Established network of freelance talent and vendors, including editors, motion designers, and production support, and the ability to staff up, supervise, and manage them as projects demand.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to anticipate issues and keep projects moving in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of the creative processes from pre-planning, creative development, routing & feedback management, asset sourcing & organization, video and animation specs quality control, and final file delivery.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication.

BONUS

  • PMP or similar project management certification.
  • Hands‑on creative craft skills in visual storytelling, video, and filmmaking.

Compensation

  • Hourly Pay Range: $66.66 - $71.66 per hour
