• Equivalent to completion of two years of college with major course work in Marketing Digital Media Photography Videography Film Productions Communications or a closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Assists in capturing photographs and video footage of various departmental activities services and community engagement efforts.
• Assists in producing video and photographic content that highlights the department's community engagement public education campaigns and public events.
• Assists with writing editing designing producing and distributing various pieces of publicity press releases videos or other media for use in print online social media email direct mail and other mediums.
• Creates graphic photographic and video content for use on social media the City's website email communications and other digital platforms.
• Works in Final Cut Pro and Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop Lightroom Premiere Pro and After Effects and other social media management tools.
• Assists with developing agency wide promotional and public relations plans designed to promote the mission vision and goals of the department.
• Assists members of management professional and technical staff by performingavariety of administrativeand technical projects and assignments.
• Operates computer photography and videography equipment and other office equipment.
• Collaborates with City departments to gather stories photos video and other content.
• Engages with the public to gather content as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
