East End Veterinary Center in Riverhead, NY is hiring a part-time Veterinary Receptionist to support our emergency and specialty teams with compassionate, clear communication and exceptional client service. The role involves front-desk duties, scheduling, and patient records in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The position offers 10-hour shifts with a base of $20–$22/hour based on experience, plus a $3/hour overnight differential from 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.

• Coordinate and schedule appointments within our multi-specialty animal hospital.
• Handle reminder and follow-up communications by phone and email.
• Accurately update and maintain client and patient records and files.
• Communicate effectively with clients, referring veterinarians, and hospital team members.
• Support the needs of our emergency and specialty departments in a fast-paced environment.
• Help create a positive client experience during both routine and emotionally challenging situations.
