Job summary

Patterson is seeking a part-time Pharmacist to join our team. This role supports our Animal Health business; you'll be working closely with our internal teams and veterinarian clients.

The position emphasizes work-life balance with no weekends, no evenings, and no holidays. The successful candidate will ensure prescription accuracy, comply with regulations, and collaborate with sales and leadership to support veterinary practices.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to express ideas and information clearly and concisely

• Demonstrated success in prioritizing and time-management
• Ability to read, write and speak effectively in English

Responsibilities

• Ensure all prescriptions dispensed meet all federal, state and local regulatory requirements
• Provide constructive feedback to maintain safe and efficient prescription processing
• Validate accuracy of all prescriptions and follow up on any discrepancies in the prescription filling process
• Maintain secure, clean and safe pharmacy/warehouse
• Communicate with veterinarians and office staff to build strong working relationships
