In this role, you’ll work closely with veterinarians and technicians to assist with medical procedures, patient care, and client education—ensuring every pet receives the highest standard of care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams, diagnostics, treatments and surgeries.
• Administer medications as prescribed (oral, injectable, topical).
• Monitor and record vital signs and animal behavior during visits and procedures.
• Prepare patients for surgery and maintain sterile fields.
• Assist with anesthesia induction and monitoring under supervision.
• Collect and process diagnostic samples and help with in‑house testing.
• Perform basic patient care tasks (nail trims, grooming, ear cleanings, wound care).
• Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of exam rooms and equipment.
• Document treatments and observations accurately in medical records.
