Animal Care Center at Cherry Way is seeking a compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our busy, four-doctor hospital on a part-time basis. You’ll provide hands-on support in exams, treatments, and surgeries, with involvement in labs and radiographs, while delivering excellent client service.

The role offers a flexible 15-hour week and Saturday rotations, ideal for staying hands-on in veterinary medicine with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Veterinary experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic lab tasks and radiographs.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-based hospital.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors with exams, treatments, and surgeries.
• Perform laboratory tests and take radiographs.
• Monitor patients throughout their care.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Communicate with clients about patient care and home instructions.
• Keep the hospital clean, organized, and equipment ready.
