Job summary

PetVet Care Centers' Broadway Animal Hospital in Everett, WA is seeking a part-time Veterinary Assistant to support the veterinarians and technicians in daily tasks by cleaning and maintaining equipment, feeding, exercising and grooming patients, preparing and sanitizing surgery suites, restraining and handling patients, and clerical and administrative work.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to be considered for this position.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years' experience in a veterinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians and technicians with daily tasks and duties.
• Clean and maintain equipment, kennels, and facilities daily.
• Prepare and sanitize surgery suites and restrain/handle patients.
• Assist with medications, treatments, and record keeping.
• Greet clients, manage appointments, and educate on care basics.
