Job summary

PetVet Care Centers in Lancaster, California, is seeking a Part-Time Veterinarian to join our locally led hospital with national support. You’ll provide comprehensive medical care for companion animals while enjoying a balanced schedule and predictable hours.

We offer a competitive Part-Time salary ranging from $80,000 to $95,000 (dependent on total PT hours), plus incentives, CE stipend, licensing reimbursement, and generous pet discounts within a supportive Culture of Care.

Qualifications

• Veterinarian degree from an accredited college.
• Current State Veterinary License in good standing.
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.
• 1+ year of veterinary practice experience.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills with surgical/dental expertise.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly with clients.
• Commitment to compassionate, high-quality veterinary care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
• Educate and communicate with clients about care plans.
• Perform diagnostic procedures and surgeries as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and case documentation.
• Handle pharmacy duties and follow controlled substance protocols.
• Collaborate with Hospital Manager on priorities and daily running.
