Job summary

North Brookhaven Veterinary Hospital, part of PetVet Care Centers, is seeking a part-time Veterinary Technician to join our caring team in Brookhaven, GA. The role involves patient care, diagnostics, and assisting with surgical procedures while upholding our Culture of Care.

Qualified candidates are CVTs/LVTs/RVTs/LVMTs with at least 4 years of experience. Schedule includes Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays; pay starts at $18/hour with a sign-on bonus potential depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), or Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician (LVMT).
• Minimum 4 years of veterinary technician experience required.
• Part-time schedule incl. Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Determine animal requirements by examinations, care plans, labs, and imaging.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments; monitor patients.
• Assist with surgeries and handling of patients and instruments; maintain records.
• Maintain and update patient medical records; ensure clean facilities and proper storage.
