Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients.
• Greet patients and their owners, show to exam room, weigh and record vitals.
• Triage patients, perform physical exams, treatments, and administer medications as directed.
• Calm and soothe anxious patients; assist doctors and technicians with medications and restraints.
• Perform laboratory tests and take radiographs; operate hospital equipment.
• Maintain accurate medical records and proper documentation; manage controlled drugs.
• Feed and groom patients as prescribed; monitor appetites and report abnormalities.
• Educate clients about insurance, wellness, and treatment plans.
• Maintain hospital cleanliness, sanitation, and safe chemical use.
• Promote hospital products/services and support the organization.
