Penske Truck Leasing seeks motivated applicants for the part‑time Hiker (Vehicle Transporter/Truck Driver) role in Carthage, MO. You will deliver and return vehicles to Penske locations and customers, primarily moving box trucks up to 26’; CDL Class A movement may include tractors and trailers.

This is a casual, on‑call, part‑time position with hours ranging up to 25 per week. Work hours are Monday-Thursday, 7am–3pm.

Qualifications

• 2 years driving experience required.
• 2 years of a clean DMV motor vehicle record required.
• Valid Class B CDL required; applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• CDL Class A license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures while driving trucks to Penske locations or customer locations.
• Check vehicles for mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment; report issues to location manager.
• Obtain receipts or signatures for deliveries and collect payment when required.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to vehicles.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
