Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing seeks a motivated Hiker (Vehicle Transporter/Truck Driver) to deliver and return vehicles for Penske locations and customers. Primary duties include moving box trucks up to 26', with Class A for tractors and trailers as applicable, and assisting the service department when needed.

This casual, on-call part-time role offers flexible morning shifts up to 30 hours per week. CDL holders with clean DMV records are encouraged to apply, 2 years driving experience required, English

Qualifications

• 2 years of driving experience required.
• 2 years of a clean DMV motor vehicle record required.
• Valid Class B CDL required; Class A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures while driving trucks to Penske locations or customer locations.
• Check vehicles to ensure mechanical and safety equipment are in good order; report issues to location manager.
• Obtain receipts/signatures for delivered goods and collect payment when required.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or damage to vehicles.
• Willingness to travel and work the required schedule at the specified location.
