Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing seeks a Hiker (Vehicle Transporter/Truck Driver) to deliver and return Penske vehicles in Indianapolis, IN. This casual on-call, part-time position offers up to 25 hours weekly, primarily moving box trucks up to 26’ and assisting the service department with parts deliveries.

Responsibilities include following safety procedures, inspecting vehicles, obtaining receipts, reporting defects, and staying compliant with DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures while driving to Penske locations or customer sites.

• Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment when required.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage.
• Perform other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
