Bark & Mane in Houston, TX is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic/Service Technician for our shop. This part-time role focuses on diesel engines, electrical systems, and pumping equipment. You must be mechanically inclined, dependable, and able to think on your feet.

On-the-job training is provided, with a flexible schedule and a supportive team environment. Daily duties include diagnosing/repairing diesel engines, wiring/electrical troubleshooting, servicing pumping systems, and performing

Qualifications

• Experience as a diesel mechanic, technician, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with pumps or fluid systems (preferred).
• Experience with Mercedes-Benz Sprinter diesel vans (highly preferred).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle a variety of tasks.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled and versatile Diesel Mechanic / Service Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, and able to think on their feet. In this position, you will work on diesel engines (including Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans), electrical systems, and pumping equipment, along with general repair and maintenance tasks. Every day is different, so adaptability and problem-solving skills are key. We offer on-the-job training, but we need someone with a strong foundation and a “get it done” attitude.
