Job summary

UTMB Health in Galveston, TX seeks a Vascular Technologist I for the Vascular Lab, working up to 19 hours per week. You will perform non-invasive vascular ultrasound tests and provide patient care under supervision, contributing to accurate diagnostics.

You will assist physicians, prepare findings, mentor students, and support department goals while ensuring QC and safety standards are maintained.

Qualifications

• Formal vascular technology training program completion or equivalent.
• ARRT-VS or RVS certification required or registry eligible (must be registered within 6 months).
• On-the-job training accepted if already registered.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive vascular ultrasound tests with supervision.
• Prepare summaries of technical findings for physicians.
• Assist physicians with diagnostic procedures and patient care.
• Mentor vascular ultrasound students and contribute to department goals.
• Ensure imaging QC and safety standards are followed.
