Peninsula Agency on Aging in Newport News, VA seeks a Van Driver to transport seniors to meals, doctor visits, and activities. CDL is not required; part-time schedule with shifts on Mon/Tue or Thu/Fri.

Qualifications

• Valid Virginia driver's license.
• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and regulations governing van operation.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate a van and pick up senior citizens for congregate meals and return them to their homes.
• Assist participants in and out of vehicles.
• Transport senior citizens to doctors, outings and points of interest, transports meals, deliver supplies.
• Maintain passenger lists, trip records and other information as required by the Agency.
• Perform daily pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure vans are fueled and maintained.
