Job summary

Benchmark-Senior-Living in Vermont seeks a compassionate Van Driver to support community residents with transportation. This part-time position (about 20–25 hours weekly) may include occasional weekends; a clean driving record and passing a medical examination are required.

As a team member, you will maintain vehicles, assist during excursions, transport residents to appointments, outings, and shopping, and help monitor safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Interest in elderly care and knowledge of residents' needs.
• Demonstrated activities/recreational experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicles per warranty and maintenance plan to ensure safety.
• Act as an Activity Assistant during excursions and stay with group.
• Transport residents to medical appointments, outings, and shopping.
• Monitor resident activity and alert staff to ensure safety.
