Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a part-time Utility Worker to support kitchen and facility operations, focusing on cleanliness and sanitation in food production and service areas. You will handle dishwashing, equipment cleaning, and general cleanliness throughout shifts.

The role requires basic sanitation knowledge, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Flexible shifts and interview-based details provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No related work experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, to include basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or uses a dishwasher.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, clean and vacuums floors; remove trash to designated areas.
• Clean equipment using specified chemicals to ensure sanitary standards.
• Restock supplies such as soap, towels, and cleaning materials.
• Walks and stands for extended periods and may exceed 8 hours.
• Lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
