Accura Engineering seeks a Part-Time Utility Coordinator to support transportation and roadway projects in the Atlanta, GA area. The role acts as a liaison between designers, utility agencies, and project stakeholders, managing GDOT utility coordination from concept to construction.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to manage complex coordination efforts while ensuring compliance, schedules, and project success.

Qualifications

• Experience leading utility coordination on complex projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between designers, utility agencies, and project owners.
• Conduct and document utility coordination meetings and minutes.
• Maintain records of all utility coordination activities.
• Communicate status updates to project teams.
• Lead pre-construction utility coordination for GDOT projects.
• Administer utility coordination for Design-Build and Local Government projects.
• Develop and process utility agreements and lighting agreements.
• Provide training for GDOT Districts and State Utilities Offices.
• Conduct analyses for complex engineering projects.
• Mentor staff and manage large tasks or projects.
