Job summary

Accura Engineering seeks a part-time Utility Coordinator to support transportation and roadway projects in the Atlanta, GA area. You will coordinate utilities between designers, agencies, and stakeholders from concept to construction, ensuring schedules and project success.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage complex coordination with GDOT guidelines. This role offers a collaborative environment with professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of transportation experience in construction inspection, design, and/or utility coordination.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and client-relations abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to develop business with new and existing clients.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between designers, utility agencies, and project owners.
• Conduct and document utility coordination meetings and actions.
• Maintain records of all utility coordination activities.
• Communicate status updates to project teams.
• Manage pre-construction utility coordination for GDOT projects across phases.
• Administer utility coordination for Design-Build and Local Government projects.
• Develop and process utility and lighting agreements.
• Provide training for GDOT Districts and State Utilities Offices.
• Mentor and supervise subordinate staff; oversee large tasks and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
