Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Part-Time Utility Coordinator to support GDOT-related transportation and roadway projects in the Atlanta, GA area.

The role serves as a key liaison between designers, utility agencies, and project stakeholders, coordinating utility activities from concept through final design. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage complex coordination efforts while ensuring schedule

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of transportation experience in construction inspection, design, and/or utility coordination.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage tasks and projects efficiently.
• Demonstrated experience in client relations, decision-making, and leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
• Willingness to develop business from new and existing clients.
• Ability to work in an office environment with occasional field site visits for progress reviews and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between designers, utility agencies, and project owners.
• Conduct and document utility coordination meetings.
• Maintain records of all utility coordination activities.
• Communicate status updates to project teams.
• Manage pre-construction utility coordination for GDOT projects.
• Develop and process utility agreements and lighting agreements.
• Assist GDOT GPASS/GUPS administration.
• Provide training for GDOT Districts and State Utilities Offices.
• Ensure compliance with policies.
