Job summary

Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a part-time Utility Coordinator to support transportation and roadway projects in the Atlanta, GA area.

You will coordinate with designers, utility agencies, and stakeholders from concept through construction, ensuring compliance and on-schedule delivery. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, communication, and project-management skills, with experience in utility coordination for GDOT projects and related design phases.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating utility efforts for transportation projects.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure compliance and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between designers, utility agencies, and project owners.
• Conduct and document utility coordination meetings with minutes and follow-up actions.
• Maintain records of all utility coordination activities.
• Communicate status updates to project teams on utility coordination.
• Manage pre-construction utility coordination for GDOT projects across Concept to Final Design.
• Administer utility coordination for Design-Build and local government projects.
• Develop and process utility agreements and lighting agreements.
• Perform rights research and assist GDOT GPASS/GUPS training.
