Job summary

El Super is seeking a Utilities Clerk in Paramount to assist customers and maintain store operations. The role involves bagging groceries, helping with carts, and supporting the Produce department while ensuring friendlier customer service.

The position is open to ages 16-17 and offers opportunities to grow within our community-focused retail team. The starting pay is $16.90 per hour, with benefits including retirement and education options as listed in our store offerings.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service in a retail setting.
• Demonstrate care for the community and food products.
• Proficient with basic PC and Outlook usage.
• Retail Management Certificate preferred or beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries and assist customers at checkout area.
• Maintain and retrieve store carts and assist with go-backs.
• Assist with price checks and store upkeep in the Produce department.
• Support customers on the store floor and carry out basic duties as needed.
