Job summary

El Super is seeking a Utilities Clerk in Paramount to assist customers and maintain store operations. The role involves bagging groceries, helping with carts, and supporting the Produce department while ensuring friendlier customer service.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

Job Description / Responsibilities

The Utilities Clerk will properly bag groceries for customers when needed, carry out groceries for customers, maintain and retrieve store carts, run price checks, assist with go-backs, assist with check stand upkeep, and remove waste from the parking area. The role also involves proper maintenance of the store, particularly in the Produce Department, and assisting customers on the store floor as needed.
