Job summary

Included Health, Inc. is seeking a board-certified physician with broad clinical expertise to provide care to patients across ages in an urgent/primary care setting in Texas. The role reports to the Medical Director of Urgent Care and requires 3+ years post-residency experience in high-volume care.

Part-time: about 20 hours per week, with evenings and weekends. Competitive base pay with benefits; productivity incentives discussed during interview.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 3-year Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine residency.
• 3+ years post residency experience in fast-paced Urgent Care or Primary Care outpatient setting.
• Active ABMS or AOA Board Certification in Family Medicine or dual boarded Internal Medicine + Pediatrics.
• Completion of U.S. Medical Licensing Examination.
• Active and unrestricted state medical license in at least one state; residing in an IMLC state is required.
• Experience and comfort providing care for all ages, newborn to adult.

Responsibilities

• Perform age-appropriate history and virtual exams; diagnose, recommend treatment plan and document findings.
• Deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining safety.
• Document medical information and review patient history at each visit.
• Request consultation or referral as appropriate.
• Counsel and educate patients.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
• Evaluate and manage pediatric and adult acute care; chronic disease and mental health.
• Maintain knowledge of current medical research and trends.
• Provide administrative support or cross-coverage for reviewing laboratory results.
• Schedule shifts including evenings and weekends.
