Job summary

Carbon Health is seeking a Part Time Urgent Care Clinician (PA/NP) to join our national network. You’ll provide patient-centered urgent care, order and interpret tests, and perform common procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Physician Assistant requires a Medical/Master’s degree with a valid state license and national certification.
Nurse Practitioner requires an RN license, NP certification, and a valid state license.
DOT Certification must be obtained prior to your start date; Carbon Health will cover the course and exam fees.
BLS certification is required and must be obtained before your first day with Carbon Health.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for urgent care conditions.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests including x-rays, labs, and EKGs.
Perform urgent care procedures such as laceration repair, I&Ds, and splint applications.
Collaborate with a network of peers and specialists for optimal patient outcomes.
Triage and manage patients to maintain a smooth clinic flow (4–5 patients per hour).
