Job summary

Bozeman Health is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant for our Urgent Care team in Bozeman, MT. Work two 11-hour shifts weekly (8:00 AM–7:00 PM) incl. weekends to deliver exceptional patient care while balancing personal commitments.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, MA program graduate or related experience, and BLS certification. Prior outpatient clinic experience is preferred and on-site collaboration with the care team is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program or equivalent experience considered.
• RMA, CMA, or CCMA certification required.
• Current AHA BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient information.
• Monitor patient status and report changes.
• Confirm written orders before procedures.
• Assist practitioner in procedures and examinations.
• Obtain and manage specimens.
• Provide patient education and health information materials.
• Prepare patients for examination and manage exam rooms.
