Qualifications

• Physician Assistant: Medical/Master’s degree with a valid state license and national certification.
• Nurse Practitioner: RN license, NP certification, and a valid state license.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license.
• DOT Certification: must be obtained prior to start; Carbon will sponsor.
• BLS certification required before day one.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for urgent care conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including x-rays, labs, and EKGs.
• Perform urgent care procedures such as laceration repair, I&Ds, and splinting.
• Collaborate with a nationwide network of peers and supervisors to support patient care.
• Triage and manage patients to maintain clinic flow (approximately 4–5 patients per hour).
