Qualifications

• Credentialed or equivalent in educator preparation.
• Expert in content area of teacher candidates supervised.
• For Educational Leadership, MA in Educational Leadership or related field and professional credential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships among cooperating teachers, school admins, staff and candidates.
• Make at least four observations per quarter of the teacher candidate.
• Evaluate teacher candidates using the approved process.
• Confer with candidate and cooperating teacher on performance topics.
• Assist with problems arising during clinical experience.
• Assign and submit a grade for clinical experience.
• Participate in an annual professional development process.
• May be involved in Teacher Performance Assessment; rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and time base.
