Job summary

Sturdy Memorial Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Assistant/Unit Coordinator (PCA/UC) for 20 hours per week in Attleboro, MA. Under RN/LPN supervision, you will perform direct and indirect patient care tasks, including vital signs, glucometry, EKGs, and data collection, while also handling unit coordination and clerical duties.

The role requires High School diploma, BLS competency, good English, and strong interpersonal skills to support the Nursing Department and hospital operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including activities of daily living, vital signs, glucometry, EKGs, weights, and intake/output data collection.
• Perform indirect patient care tasks such as transport, restocking, and obtaining supplies.
• Respond promptly to patient and family needs and support unit efficiency.
• Handle clerical, receptionist and unit coordinating duties on assigned patient care units.
