Job summary

Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant/Unit Coordinator (CNA/UC) to join the unit-based patient care team. You will perform direct patient care tasks such as activities of daily living, vital signs, glucometry, EKGs, weights, and intake/output data collection, while supporting indirect duties like transport and supply management.

Under RN/LPN supervision, you will respond to patient and family needs, document carefully, and coordinate unit activities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates knowledge of basic patient care tasks and safety.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and hospital protocols preferred.
• Ability to learn and perform unit secretary duties and clerical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including ADLs, vital signs, glucometry and EKGs.
• Collect intake/output data and monitor patient status.
• Assist with transport, restocking, and supply management on the unit.
• Respond to patient and family needs with timely, professional communication.
