Qualifications

• Possess good safety habits with the ability to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies.
• Highly organized.
• Multitasking, self-motivated skills.
• Ability to work with lawn machinery and power tools.
• Sensitive to diverse cultures and having excellent customer service skills.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish may be required depending on resident demographic needs.

Responsibilities

• Cleans hallways, public areas, vacant apartments, parking areas, sidewalks, alleyways, and on-site management offices.
• Maintains exterior cleanliness and appearance of the property, including lawn care, window washing, snow removal, leaf blowing, trash pickup, and sanitation.
• Uses ladders to dust and wash walls, clean ceilings, and dust and polish light fixtures.
• Washes and replaces blinds as needed.
• Cleans vacant apartments and prepares units as directed.
• Assists with inventory control of janitorial equipment and supplies.
• Assists with painting as directed.
• Immediately reports maintenance or safety concerns, including unsecured vacant units and structural damage.
• Ensures proper use of equipment and follows all safety procedures per OSHA, industry, manufacturer, HHDC standards.
• Reports concerns to immediate supervisors.
• Assists at other properties as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
