Job summary

The Los Angeles Convention Center is seeking a part-time Electrician to support daily maintenance and power distribution for events and operations in downtown Los Angeles.

You will handle 120–480-volt electrical systems, perform repairs, and assist with electrical installations for shows and seminars. This position requires journeyman-level electrical skills and the ability to work on-site during event-driven schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform journeyman level electrical work for power distribution, wiring, lighting, motor control and energy usage on-site.
• Respond to outages and diagnose faults in 120–480-volt systems to restore power.
• Install circuits for offices, work areas and mechanical equipment rooms as needed.
• Assist with event-related electrical setup and support across departments.
