Job summary

Auto Approve, LLC, a fast-growing fintech, seeks a part-time Underwriter to oversee the automated underwriting of auto loans from home. You will verify data, review submissions, and approve funding deals to support rapid growth.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in consumer lending or underwriting, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and experience with a loan origination system. Flexible weekday evenings and one weekend day preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of consumer lending experience (preferably credit underwriting).
• Automotive experience in F&I a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with a loan origination system preferred.

We are looking for someone to work 10-20 hours per week. Hours are flexible and may vary week to week, though we're ideally looking for coverage on weekday evenings (Monday–Friday) plus one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday). Your location can be flexible as we are a remote first company and you will be afforded the luxury of working from home without in office or travel expectations. We will set you up to succeed by providing all work equipment (laptop, monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc.) and foster a sense of belonging, camaraderie, and healthy competition anywhere in the continental United States.

What You’ll Do:

Approve Lending utilizes a fully automated decision-making process to underwrite its auto loans. The Underwriter will be responsible for overseeing the underwriting process, verifying data submitted with applications, and review and approve deals submitted for funding.

We are looking for a self-starter and highly motivated individual who is excited to learn and not afraid of a challenge!

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of consumer lending experience (preferably credit underwriting)
• Automotive experience in F&I a plus
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
• Well-developed analytical, decision-making, and problem solving skills
• Positive attitude and desire to learn
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint required
• Experience with a loan origination system (preferred)
