Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Playa Vista, CA. You will patrol retail and mall areas, deter incidents, monitor access points, and help ensure a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff.

As a Part-Time Officer, you can build a flexible schedule and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Pay rate is $19.50 per hour with day and night shifts available.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as per law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and retail patrons by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular patrols of retail areas, common areas, parking facilities, and entrances.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity to site management.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation.
